NFL 2K5 to launch at $19.99
In an attempt to win over Madden players, the next installment of the ESPN NFL 2K series will be priced at $19.99 when it is released on August 24th. While it had been rumored for a couple of days, the price was confirmed late last week.
This is great news since I had already decided to convert back over to the 2K series this season with the demise of Microsoft's NFL Fever franchise. I've never been able to get into Madden. There is something about the play calling interface and the controls that just don't feel right.
NFL 2K5 has already been named "Best Sports Game" at E3 2004 by Gamespot and Gaming Illustrated.
