Yahoo! IM blocks Trillian (again)
Yahoo! has changed its IM protocol again to prevent Trillian users from accessing Yahoo! IM. Yahoo! claims its an effort to reduce spim; however, it is the latest in a series of moves aimed specifically at locking Trillian out.
While I like the unified interface of Trillian, I feel that Yahoo!, Microsoft and AOL have a right to keep their free IM networks closed.
