I'm sick of CDs
After 3 road trips in the past couple of months, I finally got feed up with CDs. At home, I use a 200-disc CD changer, so I never have to touch most of my CDs. However, when I travel, I have to pull a bunch of the CDs out of the changer and drag them around with me. It's been a real pain in the butt.
So a couple of weekends ago, I started ripping all of my CDs to mp3. Today, I finished converting most of my collection. Now I have about 2,000 songs ripped to my home theater PC. According to Windows Media Player, it would take over 127 hours to listen to them all.
