Happy 1st Birthday, Mira!
As you can probably guess from the title of this post, today is Mira's 1st birthday. As cliched as it sounds, it really doesn't seem like that long since she was born.
Now just 12 months later, she is starting to talk and is able to pull up on the furniture. Her favorite words right now are "hot" (referring to coffee mugs), "baby" (for her baby doll), "Bubba" (referring to Mahlon or Miles), "Uh oh!" (referring to dropping toys), "Daddy" and "Mama." When she put on her birthday hat for the photo above, she said "hat."
We are going to have a small party for her this afternoon. Because she has been sick, we are going to skip Chuck E. Cheese until she is feeling better.
